Maria Pia Luly Jones is a nature painter

She lives and works in Bordighera.

She first studied at the Art School of Via Ripetta in Rome and then pursued her studies at the Art School of Brera in Milan.

Driven by her passion for flowers and fascinated by historical botanical iconography, she paints floral subjects with freshness of style, vibrance in colours and light, and with great detail.

She captures and interprets the poetry and elegance of Geishas and paints them with nobility.

Maria Pia Luly Jones’ watercolors are striking and communicate her love for Art.

Over the years she has collaborated with several interior design studios to produce her drawings on fabrics.

In more recent years, she has transferred her work on porcelain services and has developed bespoke business cards and greeting cards, as well as personal and business logos.

Her technique is watercolor and pencil on watercolor paper.

Her work has been exhibited in various locations such as in Cannes, Monte Carlo, Bordighera, La Brigue, San Remo, Todi, Assisi, and in Spoleto where she received several awards.
